Now I'M assuming YOU don't take YOUR hobbies seriously.
702  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 4 March 2010, 22:40:52
Some people have wisdom teeth that come in just fine, I think, and their only issue with it is flossing waaay back there.
703  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 4 March 2010, 04:20:28
I had plans to get the wisdom teeth out before I turned 21, but my body had other plans to kick my ass. Now I'm no longer covered by insurance.

I can't understand anyone presumptuously saying "you're overreacting" because everyone seems to have a different experience with it. The fact is it really sucks during and after surgery, and everyone who's done with the experience is probably just happy that it's over and that they don't have to do it again.

It's may be difficult to understand what I mean if you don't suffer through pain on a daily basis, as has been happening to me. When I'm in pain, it sucks. When it's over it seems like I always downplay how bad it was because I try to just move on and forget about it.
704  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 4 March 2010, 04:18:14
So... what's going on? Are you making your own mini games with this or something?
705  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 1 March 2010, 16:43:02
CHANGE THE DATE

Well I'm just saying I have no #####ing clue.

But HAHAHA. I'm glad I have a slim. That really sucks.

But this is why I hate the whole comprehensive portal crap. I don't need a console to tell me the time or date, I just want it to play a game when I put it in. I don't want updates and music players and all that crap. It's like giving them all the second chances in the world to mess up the software in my console. If I wanted that I'd mod it.

Bring the lab to his or her house and STUDY THE INSIDE OF THAT MOUTH.
707  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Stuff thread! on: 28 February 2010, 05:35:06
You could probably modify it to do that. Given what I've seen some freaky people do with their iPhones.
708  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 28 February 2010, 05:10:07
He really needs to get help for that.
709  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 21 February 2010, 03:52:16
Okay, fair enough... but when has this happened?
710  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Stuff thread! on: 21 February 2010, 02:46:09
I totally got it from his stance.
711  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 20 February 2010, 05:26:34
No, you're basically saying "I vote Sano out of the group", and by popular vote he gets that mark. It causes or may cause bias against that person.

Sure it does, but since we're the only ones doing the voting we generally already have a bias.

I'm not defending the idea, exactly... I'm just not sure that's the reason. One of the good things about MMM is most of us aren't so dumb that we "target" individuals for dumb reasons. If you have a bull's eye on you it's generally because you've put it on yourself.
712  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 20 February 2010, 02:31:21
Well, the awards were decided by voting. If someone got that award they'd probably already have said bull's eye.
713  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Video share topic on: 19 February 2010, 00:00:58
I laughed LOUDLY at the period joke. It didn't take me like 10 seconds to get it like those douches.

I was listening to that one song from Mario Paint when I drew it. No not the one with monkey's and the cymbals...The really weird one that's just like 16-bit new agey noises and goes like ookie-ookie ookie-ookie ookie-ookie Oooooeekeeiieikeeieieike

I never listened to that one the whole way through because it freaked me out so much.
715  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 10 Topic. on: 15 February 2010, 03:23:47
Why do I SAY that? Because I'm doubtful I'll see anything from Mega Man in the future that I'm going to actually like.

I'm making no assumptions of course. I DID say "might".
716  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 13 February 2010, 18:27:16
We got it for PS2 at my house, but... the thing is we never went into it that much, I don't think. Maybe 'cause I only did multiplayer. My brother did all the unlocking and stuff and actually played the game.

It's funny, I had no practice at that game. I could destroy my brother with SSJ3 Goku even when he managed to pull off SSJ4, in which case I let him a few times.
717  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 10 Topic. on: 13 February 2010, 18:23:47
I only just got Mega Man 9 recently in good faith. With my skill level I might never beat it.

It might also be the last Mega Man game I ever buy.

I'm listening to this as I chat with other people and surf the net and I'm kind of enjoying his voice acting over the video game music. It's not hilarious but it's at least a bit entertaining.

Sort of like how I was watching Enter the Dragon the other day while mostly focusing on my food.

EDIT: Aha!!

You used to have ads at the bottom of the site. I don't know if they helped you any, but if you want to bring them back, or even bring back bigger ones I really don't mind.

I don't care about the radio or MChat, but it's always been really cool that you provided that stuff; I'm just saying I won't miss it.

Even if we have to degrade to something like free proboards hosting, I'll be there, you know. Do whatever you like.

Before I post this, I should mention that there are probably a lot of videos LIKE this one on youtube and I didn't make it through the whole thing because it's dumb watching something when you get the general idea not very far in that omg it's sort of kind of creepy in slow motion but since someone mentioned Epona's whinny I had to skip to it.

727  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 27 January 2010, 19:13:42
That actually is kind of funny.

I found out I could customize the N7 colours shortly after I got myself the Collector armor, which isn't customizable. lol

Visual appeal is up 100%, and characters are a lot more interesting, and I've laughed out loud several times so far at dialogue, even some random conversations. I don't want to reveal anything at all, you have to experience it yourself.
728  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 27 January 2010, 01:37:35
Omg YOUR Shepard? Mine has eyeliner.

Or it sort of looks like it sometimes. All I ended up doing to his appearance was change his facial hair. And eye colour, for the hell of it. I had to redo his custom appearance 'cause there wasn't a "I just wanna make minor changes" option.
729  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Stuff thread! on: 23 January 2010, 18:51:38

Nice.
731  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 22 January 2010, 04:14:52
Surveying minerals was just another way to make money. I think the theoretical idea was that you were out there in dangerous territory claiming these minerals for the Human Alliance because surveying those minerals would either be too dangerous or illegal or not cost-effective enough for a non-Spectre who didn't have a ship like the Normandy under his command, and you got a chunk of profit from doing it.

Since I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition rather than the standard I may have a better chance at getting it the day of.
732  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 21 January 2010, 19:50:52
Minerals, huh? And signs of battle? I did enough to complete those quests but I definitely don't think I got ALL the minerals. I figured a lot of sidequests would carry over depending on what happened.

But credits? O Fortuna. I'm cashing in big if I get a credit bonus in ME2.

I don't mind talking about Mass Effect 2 actually because I'm really psyched for it. I don't think I'll really even care what my actions influence in the end, for those who know the potential outcomes of the game. If I end up not liking what happens I can just replay it. I already beat the game and I didn't expect this but I found myself starting ANOTHER new character; this one a Renegade, and on a tougher difficulty.
733  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Stuff thread! on: 20 January 2010, 05:29:59
I got spoiled.
734  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 19 January 2010, 06:08:38
So far I haven't found anything for DSiWare that I think is really worth the money. I spent my free 1000 and that's it. And even then I wish I spent it on something else. Dr. Mario Express might've been a good idea—that is, if it was still free for me to get.

About Mass Effect 2: Yes you can change your appearance entirely. And you can choose a different class, apparently. This surprised me but I'm glad it's like that.
735  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: Zero Collection coming out on DS on: 18 January 2010, 00:31:52
How would they fix the gameplay, exactly?

I mean it's ideally a fair thought but that's a lot more work than I'd realistically expect from Capcom. The whole point of the collection is so they can resell things that they've already made to make more money. Hell, I'd do that if I were them. I'd put some minimal effort into some extra unlockable features to make them feel like they're not being ripped off and then get it out there.

Actually wait, I have to consider that. Would I really do that? Or would I just not do a collection at all and focus on giving people something new and good?

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

I HOPE I DON'T HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS ONE TO YOU
738  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: Zero Collection coming out on DS on: 16 January 2010, 19:18:08
I'm with Res. And Nova. To be fair I haven't played much of the games but I did not enjoy what I played of them at all, and I feel like I don't want to spend ANY money if I'm not going to get any enjoyment out of it.

As I've said, I traded in MegaMan X7 so I could get 2.95 off a better game.
739  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Stuff thread! on: 14 January 2010, 16:21:39
Ever hear of Pokéclipse or whatever?

I think it was their answer to Digiclipse, which was the idea that Digimon exist and their beliefs were based on something to do with what happened in the Digimon show with an eclipse and so they believe if they do something when there's an eclipse they'll have Digimon sightings or something.

And then they made Pokéclipse. Or something.

Yes I just bothered to copy and paste those és from the character map.
740  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Stuff thread! on: 13 January 2010, 04:07:20
You know, some people think Pokémon are real.
741  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 11 January 2010, 14:31:12
If they update the character creator in ME2 I hope they atleast let you modify your ME1 character; my guy needs a new hair cut.

Well, that actually seems possible. The extent of the changes you'd be able to make might be limited to hair and adding scars.

744  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 8 January 2010, 23:46:27
So I'm pretty happy. I traded in a bunch of games I'll never play again at EB Games, and got a lot more than I expected. Three of the games I actually got 25 dollars for, which was a surprisingly good deal I think. Though I laughed that I got 2.25 for MegaMan X7. They have like five more copies of the game on the shelf for 19.99, and I almost feel bad for taking any money at all for it.

I traded them in for:
Brutal Legend
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Rayman 3 (I really wanted Rayman 2 but settled for that instead)
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Five dollars on Mass Effect 2

I paid 10.90 for all that.

I also recently got Operation: Anchorage for Fallout 3 and as I said before that I was going to do, I'm replaying Mass Effect in anticipation of the next game. Not over-anticipation, mind you, I just want a more properly-prepared character.
745  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Stuff thread! on: 8 January 2010, 23:32:18
No, the pink dots actually DO disappear one at a time and then reappear. The optical illusion is that when you stare at the crosshair the pink dots appear to turn green instead.
746  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 6 January 2010, 20:29:11
I was terrible at that game.
747  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 6 January 2010, 00:26:14
Oh, ##### no I'm not. Haha. But I've been discharged today. I've been in there since Boxing Day afternoon, and I wasn't given a bed until like 4AM on the 27th. But I got to try morphine. It's nice, but I'm glad I'm off it. I'm too... stoic I guess, I'm not the kind of person who takes pain medication even when I probably should, and I guess that's not something to feel really proud about but I guess I am.

I'm going to be able to take it easy for a while, I've got, you know, my family with me who are all concerned right now and I'm going to play it close with my doctor for a bit and we're going to figure things out. I'll be fine, soon, and I think I'm on my way to recovering. I sure have a hell of a lot of pills to take.

It's actually kind of nice skipping my birthday in the hospital, because now I get to choose when I want to celebrate it.

But yeah, don't worry about me. I'm good. Let's talk games.
748  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 5 January 2010, 23:37:53
Given that I'm pretty sure Mass Effect 2 is coming out soon, I think I'm going to want to replay the first. And I might cautiously look over someone's shoulder at Final Fantasy XIII, I don't plan on getting it myself but I just know it's going to end up in the house.

I've been in the hospital with nothing better to do, and I since I ended up with Spirit Tracks for Christmas I've been playing that. My overall impression is that it's better than Phantom Hourglass but it gives me a desire to replay that game.

This seems like the most straightforward Zelda game I've ever played, if that's the right word. I'm usually not able to get 100% on a Zelda game without the help of a guide, and I have this one pretty much covered. A lot of the quests are in the same vein, which puts you into a formula of finding people to transport and then exploring the area they unlock for you when you successfully transport them or deliver their stuff. I was only confused at the fact that you don't seem to get anything from some minigames, and more than one thing from other minigames, which sort of leads you to believe you're missing something or not getting a good enough score.

Overall I guess I like it. Call me a sucker. I feel like it's just a cash cow for Nintendo but there's enough in it to appeal to me and I apparently liked it enough to want to get everything in it. I guess I'll go head for the final battle soon and finish it off.

And hell yes, it is much better than Minish Cap.
749  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 22 December 2009, 20:59:13
Everything is constantly updating in real time, like when a person is typing another person will see what that person is typing as he's typing it before he even submits what he's writing.

I've seen that before and it's not a good idea considering if someone's reading as you're typing, you can't just delete it before you send and forget it happened.

I hate that #####. They had that on ICQ ten years ago and it's one of the reasons no one here knows what I'm talking about when I say ICQ.

I guess that's where I've seen it before, but I didn't remember if it was ICQ or not.
