I really don't understand why anyone doesn't believe Sigma's final lines in X6 weren't more a result of him being incomplete. I mean the rest of the game is coherent enough, why would it suddenly get shot to hell? There's that, and yet everyone seems convinced it wasn't written that way on purpose.
But I guess I'll go with X1/X2.

Chill? I'm cold as always. First off, I wasn't talking to you Maj, I was talking about Mikero. Don't use a forum if you don't want people to respond to your posts.

I'm already laughing about a minute in
I was actually cool with some parts, but it lost its funniness near the end. I guess that was the point, though. Even if it was amusing at first, it was probably meant to be repetitive enough to destroy the amusement by the end of the song.

If you've been here forever you should know that no one actually thinks any game company is better than the other. If we were fanboys we'd praise anything and everything that Nintendo pulls out of its ass, which we don't. We just like GOOD games, no matter what the console is. That's all. Some of us may be a bit biased against FPS games, and are therefore biased against what the XBox seems to be known for, so that doesn't help, but that's all it really is. So yes, it is a bias, but rather an anti-XBox bias, not a pro-Nintendo bias.
If I'm the first of us to say it, the XBox has some good stuff, and so does the Wii. I'm just not a huge gamer and so I just don't care all that much for having more than one console, so I chose Wii.
I have no idea what the hell you're referring to when you say "propaganda" but I have the feeling nothing has been said to warrant that remark anyway. Opinions aren't propaganda.

I wouldn't say it's 100% for sure going to be good, but I hi-*reads sig*
Yeah... yeah, you probably do.
IRON MAN SCREENING TOMORROW. If it's allowed, that is. I remember nearing the summer last year we had to wait a week to screen movies like Pirates of the Caribbean or Spider-Man 3 to honour the company's wishes, even though they have no way of finding out. But I'm pretty sure it's Iron Man.
Also, I thought I already said so, but Forgetting Sarah Marshall was priceless. Saw that two weeks ago and I was laughing really hard. I have "Dracula's Lament" on my iPod. I'm trying to avoid playing it too much though because it'll lose its humour quicker that way, but there you go. This doesn't say much at all, I guess, but it's an excellent movie in my view.

I just figured I'd start holding it down after after the 2 started to fade like on the DS, and if not, I'd look it up, and it worked the first time. I think you get an even better boost if you do it at just the right moment but I haven't figured that part out yet.

I like my colour coded money. I'm so used to figuring how how much a bill is worth just by glancing at its colour that when I'm using American money I keep thinking they're all twenties.
EDIT: That doesn't have much to do with anything in this thread, but I DID have a dream where I was examining a 10 dollar bill to see if it was fake. The bill was yellow, and tens are actually supposed to be purple, but I didn't realize that in the dream. Another thing about our bills is that if you look at it through a light source you can see a face on it that isn't visible on either side otherwise. Well, I did this to the yellow ten in my dream, and I saw an old guy with a huge beard sitting on the hood of an old truck in a position that suggested he was in control of a horse, but there were no reins nor any horse in the picture.

Some vehicles don't seem to recover as easily from getting hit by your basic projectiles, I'm noticing. Like, on the sugarscoot when Luigi gets hit by a red shell, he takes an extra moment to flail his arms around and that gives him a chance to get hit again easily. And then all the uber 12th place weapons fall on me at that exact moment and I still somehow end up in 1st or maybe second unless it happens near the end.
I don't really care so much about the squid, but the POW block is annoying. I thought maybe that if you just pressed the drift button to jump at the right moment, you'd be able to dodge it, but you ACTUALLY have to go up a jump to avoid it. That seems lame.
I especially love how you throw items now, though.

Haha, yeah. I can't believe she thought the poem was lame, though. I thought it was awesome.
Also I was cleaning the auditorium before the credits even finished and when that part came up the day after I saw the movie, I was like "omg"

EPIC.
I would've quoted that part, had you not done so already. That was perfect.

Yes, motorcycles. They're faster but they can't turn as well/get a full drift boost or something. It probably feels more realistic if you don't use the Wii Wheel for those, though.
I'll probably stick with karts for a while, personally.
And yes I know how much you need to turn the wheel in a real car, but the Wii Wheel isn't held in place like the steering wheel of a car either. I don't think it needs to be THAT realistic, anyway. It's a step forward, at least.

Abe, do you steer with the Wii Remote?
Yes, you do. I don't know if there are alternative controls, especially for the motorcycles, but the game does come with one steering wheel. I hope not. I've found the motion detection to be somewhat clunky at times, and with a reflex-oriented racing game like Mario Kart that could be a serious drawback.
We're not talking about sudden motions that sometimes don't translate correctly, though. We're talking about steering with two hands. Tilting the Wii Remote left and right to steer has ALWAYS translated perfectly for me, except when you try to rotate the thing past 90 degrees. Maybe there's a way to fix that, or maybe it won't matter because that'll be the maximum you can turn anyway. I don't know for sure but it's probably that. Anyway, I am going to get this game. Naturally.

Okay, to clear things up, no one actually thinks the action of harassing ANYONE (read: not just women) is funny. This should be obvious, but that clearly went over your head. I'll give you that maybe you didn't figure that out because it's a touchy subject for you, but either way, you're being ridiculous, kidding or not.
I tried to bring this topic back to food earlier, that didn't work. I'll try again.
Those "Spudnik" or whatever chips that our Cineplex just got to sell taste like crap. I don't know if they're spread to all theatres, but they're like 7 bucks. We were going to give out free samples until we realized they taste like crap. I wouldn't buy if I were you.
