I'm currently writing a parody of "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe, on the subject of #####ING SNOW IN OCTOBER. Started writing it today, and man, this kind of structured rhyme is crazy. I like the practice though. And I love that poem.

#####, I misspelled aberration. That makes me angry, because I love that word. I love that you rhyme the word "tardation"
Though shame on you for spittin' writtens.
I wanted to sound smart, haha. As for spittin' writtens, I doubt I'll ever be late, and if I am, I'll actually see if I can do something on the spot, or at least take the time to think of something just before I arrive. So you know, I'll actually try. But I probably won't come up with anything, so I got backup. I'm VERY introverted so I'd probably have a nervous breakdown before and/or after no matter what I do, not that it justifies. But I'll probably just tell everyone it was written beforehand and they won't care.

I just don't watch the commercials. There's a familiar sound that always plays before the show comes back on, and I just make sure I can come back on short notice.
I just finished reading Watchmen and I was GIVING myself short breaks from it.

These are actually about being late for work. On Fridays and Saturdays we have a meeting on arrival, and it was decided recently that those who are not reasonably on time must freestyle rap (during the meeting) why they are late.
Well, ##### freestyle. These're nothing special but they'll get it over with fast enough.
LATE EXCUSES --- The reason why I'm late Gives naught to demonstrate But maybe I can orate That it was all just fate
I needed entry to the room Where your bowels seem to boom And even though I swiped on time It called for what I pass for rhyme
My sleep is in a setting That deserves some regretting And it's due this abberation The reason of my tardation
I was promised a ride So I relaxed and sighed But then the driver lied So I ran desperately and cried
... Any other ideas?

I don't know... sometimes it kind of beats getting up and getting all the stuff ready to play it if you want to stay at the computer for some reason (conversation). Or maybe it gets you back into the game so you can play it again. I've never really seen anything like this before, the voices are grating on my nerves but I have a headache so that might be it. So... eh. It's a fairly neat idea. If not neat, convenient.
Like, I immediately went to check out Link's Awakening when realizing that people actually do this stuff on YouTube because my original copy of the game is glitched to hell, the the GBC version is I-don't-know-where, and I'm certainly not playing it without my thumbs on the buttons, if you know what I mean. So at least I can experience it second-hand.

That song is seriously epic. But I grew tired of it.
Okay... number beating staple. That's the only vague one now.
Here I was thinking Number Man and Goal Man could both beat Paint Man, technically... I was thinking of paint chips peeling off every single goal post I've ever seen, and paint by numbers.
But yeah, I know the goal posts aren't the actual thing ruining the paint.

This thread is a consistent flow of "ooh"s and "ahh"s.
And I love it.
FINALLY, ART I CAN APPRECIATE.
But I also love the robot masters themselves. The only thing I'm confused about is how Staple beats Sniper, but everything else makes sense to me and that's awesome.

Abort.
It'll never happen again. Anyway I really liked those Short Circuit things, for some reason. But they always ended early because I guess they were just filler on YTV and they cut off when a commercial or show needed to start. Maybe they intrigued me because they kept freaking cutting off and I rarely got to find out what actually happened.

You know, I never looked at one picture of Neil Patrick Harris and then a picture of David Anders, like, close enough in time to each other for me to realize they're different people, but I was always like "I think he's Neil Patrick Harris, but I'm not sure. He seems different somehow." And I never really outright said it was Neil Patrick Harris because of that confusion.
Now that I know the name, I just looked up pictures and AH! AH! AH! AH!
Of course after watching Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog I'd probably tell the difference in a heartbeat but I haven't looked at the guy since Heroes 2 ended, so I still didn't realize.
You gotta admit, some pictures make them look really similar.

I don't even know what those lines are supposed to mean, and what exactly they're connecting to, but oooookay.
Maybe there's a simpler way to do it that the person just didn't see.

Vinch, I wasn't sure you were adding to what I said or deliberately not acknowledging that I made a post, but guessed the latter and I treated it like the former in irony.
Figured it had something to with your anguish caused by ASR's recent devilry.
