Everytime I see a scientology protest I want to punch myself until I die.

I don't know, myself. The protest against scientology seems like something I could morally support, myself. No offense to anyone who actually IS a scientologist; I just find some practices grate against my right-versus-wrong morals.

The awesome part of it is that there're 120+ people singing Never Gonna Give You Up in a public space that isn't a concert.

The power went out on a couple of blocks, so Brisa, Ray and I went around to investigate.

We were heading down to the store, and we happened to be right across the streets from the transformers. The man was moving the wire off the other wires (with safety equipment, of course), and it was sparking loudly and horribly.

Suddenly, BOOM. There's a fireball, and the dead line is on fire, and most of downtown is dark.

We saw the fireball at around six or seven, for the record.


Spectacular fireball.


The worker seemed minimally (if at all) injured, surprisingly.


That fireball was pretty spectacular.

Ray's not the coffeehouse patron as much as I am.

I, not having a laptop with wifi, do not have as easy access, and have to use the library.


And annoying phone company is annoying. Unless they've come in the past thirty minutes, they're late on their due date for hookup... And that's after saying that they'd try to do it sooner.

In this house, we have Selsun Blue and Aussie's shampoo for greasy roots/frizzy ends with desert lime. I also have Alberto V05 kiwi-lime conditioner. My hair responds well to citrus. :3

Cherry, I'd recommend the Aussie for you if you have that issue.

Also, get some light hair oil. It works wonders, and you can rinse it out at night with water usually. Also, don't wash your hair every day if you can stand it.

My brother and I used to play the crap out of Pogs.  Sure it was a fad that was quick to arrive and even quicker to leave, but I miss it.

If you do, Ray and I are apartment hunting and have a fairly solid lead on a place. We're looking to move in around New Year's. We might not be on much in interim time, and I don't know how soon we'll be able to have internets.

It's an older apartment, a studio with divisions between the kitchen, living/bedroom and closet. The hallway smells a bit like cat, but the place itself is nice. It's got high ceilings that make the small room seem bigger, and has a nice "older place" feel to it.

We're hoping to get it, and it seems promising that we will.

It works kind of like a censor light on a toilet, to my understanding, only more complicated and not a light censor.

Went with Ray to see Meshuggah-Nuns. It was pretty awesome, and full of spirals of paper. We got pizza after, and then the whole Ray-getting-kicked-out bit happened, which wasn't so fun, but I'm happy to have my RayRay here.

(Not happy about the circumstances, but happy to have him around.)

Tomorrow, back to work.
