Title: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Abominator on 20 February 2008, 19:18:18 Anyone know where I can get these easily?
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: ChaosVortex on 20 February 2008, 20:34:53 I thought this was some topic saying Waluigi is an outlaw...
You want Waluigi SFX? I can't find any SFX from any game, really, so no dice. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 20 February 2008, 20:43:29 If I might pry just a tad, why do you want Waluigi sound clips?
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: ChaosVortex on 20 February 2008, 20:44:48 Why WOULDN'T he want Waluigi sound clips?
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 20 February 2008, 20:49:38 Well yeah, I know Waluigi's voice makes angels jealous, but for what reason does Abe want them in particular is what I'd like to know.
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Xero on 20 February 2008, 22:03:01 Brawl, Mario Party 8 take your pick.
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Lunchebox on 20 February 2008, 22:03:46 Waluigi is awesome. They need to do more stuff with him and Wario.
Super Wario Bros. I'm trying to think where you'd find Waluigi SFX. If I figure it out, I'll tell you. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Abominator on 20 February 2008, 22:10:01 I know, Waluigi needs his own game.
I can't believe he doesn't even get to be in WarioWare. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Lunchebox on 20 February 2008, 22:14:28 Yeah, what's up with that? I would love to see some Warioware Waluigi.
Seriously, I was so hoping Brawl would have Waluigi as playable. I was devestated when it turned out he was an assist trophy. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 20 February 2008, 22:16:19 I don't know guys. Waluigi is awesome, but so is Luigi. When Luigi suddenly got his own game it wasn't as good as it should've been. Do we really want a game like that but with Waluigi in it?
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Abominator on 20 February 2008, 22:55:22 Luigi's Mansion was good clean fun.
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 20 February 2008, 22:59:38 Heh, I get it. 'Cause of the vacuum.
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Edgecrusher on 21 February 2008, 01:32:55 It sounds like I may be alone on this, but I think Waluigi is horribly lame.
I mean, I understand Wario. Mario needed an antagonist. His name was even clever. But Waluigi? Never mind the fact that he's a doppleganger of a lesser character (making him even worse) but his name isn't remotely witty. I understand that warui means evil (more or less), and that it's SUPPOSED to be a hybrid of that and the name, but that only really worked with Wario. He even gets extra points for the inverted first letter. But Waluigi? Way to take a gimmick WAY too far. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Captain Sanoguchi on 21 February 2008, 01:56:46 Yeah, and he was only created so Wario could have a partner for tennis.
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: NovaMan XP on 21 February 2008, 02:10:55 Yeah, and Waluigi's hat symbol is... a 7? The number 1? WHAT THE HELL DOES AN INVERTED L MAKE?!
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Edgecrusher on 21 February 2008, 02:15:19 Г
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Majikn on 21 February 2008, 02:18:35 Luigi's always been my favourite of the bunch. I don't hate Waluigi but I don't really like him either. My initial reaction to Waluigi was about the same as my reaction to Baby Luigi, but I now think Baby Luigi's even worse.
As for sounds... well, I did put some effort into finding some. Sorry. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: ChaosVortex on 21 February 2008, 02:30:11 Yeah, I thought the name wasn't very creative and I'm on the same boat as Edge about that, but I still like the character. More than Wario.
Probably because he doesn't fart as much and he's not a fat slob. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: ASR on 21 February 2008, 03:18:46 It sounds like I may be alone on this, but I think Waluigi is horribly lame. You are not alone. Even his name bugs me. He's just too tacky (and tacked-on) for me. I mean, I love Wario. Probably my favorite Mario character. When WarioWare rolled around, that was the icing on the cake - those games were made for me. Anyway, I'm 100% sure Waluigi makes some sort of cameo in at least one WarioWare microgame. Not sure where, though. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Edgecrusher on 21 February 2008, 04:22:04 I feel vindicated.
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: ASR on 21 February 2008, 04:25:39 You should.
Also, I did try searching for SFX but I couldn't find any. Good luck, Abe. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Lunchebox on 21 February 2008, 05:58:02 It sounds like I may be alone on this, but I think Waluigi is horribly lame. Waluigi is actually the rearranged Japanese word "Igiwalui". It means something like "Bad man". I really started to like Waluigi when he started to tell people to "SUCK IT!" in Mario Soccer. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Edgecrusher on 21 February 2008, 06:06:59 I'm only aware of the word warui.
I also seriously question the existence of the word igiwalui, since there are no L's in japanese to romanjii translation, and I can't think of any instance in which I've known 'igi' to be 'person' Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Lunchebox on 21 February 2008, 10:28:03 I'm just repeating what I read from the Nintendo Power Article I read when he was introduced in Mario Tennis.
I'd dig it out, but I'm not sure if I even have it anymore. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Voulnet on 21 February 2008, 14:29:11 It sounds like I may be alone on this, but I think Waluigi is horribly lame. Hahah, yes. He perfected it against Peach. I love that game, never lost when using Peach. Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Abominator on 21 February 2008, 18:14:17 SO, any sound effects?
(Guess who couldn't care less if Waluigi is liked or not?) Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Edgecrusher on 21 February 2008, 18:26:00 They can be made, but it will involve things we are forbidden to speak of.
Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Dopefish on 21 February 2008, 18:32:16 If you own the game you could just record it off of the console using a line-in cable.
Of course you might get some background noise.... Title: Re: Waluigi sounds wanted Post by: Abominator on 21 February 2008, 18:36:48 You guys are really a great help.
