Is like, Alec's little bro or what?
Bellingham Society of Roleplayers. Superior to the RPGA (The official Wizards of the Coast group) in that you can have evil characters, don't have to register to DM, and can play with house rules all you want.

Fourth ed. was poorly timed for me. It came out right as I was getting comfortable with 3.5.
It's not too bad as far as gameplay goes, and as a notoriously slow character creator / leveler, the simplicity is nice for me. However, it lacks my favoured class (Druid), and they seem to have done away with familiars / animal companions entirely, so it loses favour there.
3.5 is what I was raised on, so to speak, and it's what I'm getting used to finally as I'm playing steadily now.
I don't remember what system I was first playing with, but I had a custom race that was essentially a hind-leg-waking cat with fluent speech abilities (The DM essentially mixed a cat and halfling for stats, but with improved dex. and speed). I convinced a tailor to make a burlap sack into a little dress for my character, and went through charming people with my dancing, and running between my opponents legs to escape battle, and clawing at their legs if that didn't work. It was fun.
Fun fact: The DM called the race Caitian.

GOT THE UPDATE DONE early this morning.
Slept 'til three for the first time in a while.
Went to the BSR, started a new DnD campaign with my old level 10 Druid, got the beginnings of my character for a Psionics campaign. I'm looking forward to bringing back my Catian character again, albeit in a different, less dancer-ly form.

D'awwww.
We're going to have new kittens in a month or so, as our kitty's preg-o.
She's been really sweet lately, but her throat massages are kinda weird.
DELAYED RESPONSE: Majikn, I doubt your controller is purple. >_>

In ANY mall, I cannot resist going up the down escalator, but I've always found going down the up escalator to be difficult.
Our town has one escalator. It is unused, has been for many years, and about to be torn out. D: Today... Today, I work. Then, I come home. No real plans otherwise.

It seems very... I guess "sketchy" would be the proper word... to have a quiz relevant to proper grammar, but written with (at times) mediocre grammar. Footnotes in a post! Wowza.
It wasn't completely relevant to my point, so I added it later, indicating its relevancy via footnotes. :3

I got a solid 50%, however, some of the questions struck me as incorrect. Mostly, they were little things, like the fact that, "To boldly go where no man has gone before..." is a sentence fragment, and they set it up as a full sentence, as well as the apostrophes one*. That, and the fact that it was made by a person who hates grammar.
*I was taught that apostrophes are used for two things: possessives and contractions. It will forever be imbued within me that "A's" refers to either "A is..." or "A is the possessor of... ," and never to more than one A. I'm curious as to when it was and who it was who decided otherwise.

These are similar to the kind I have. They are a little loose around the speaker sometimes, but they're effective, and I've never had a problem with them being too quiet.

I've got a pair of over-ear headphones that hook around the ears. I like 'em. I can't use earbuds because of my prone-to-infection ears, but I find these really comfortable, very secure, and less gross to share music with.
