Me, either.
Until I was in sixth grade.
It was after school entertainment.
Watched either Animal Planet or the Discovery Channel until the news, then Bill Nye came on after that.
My grandfather always had the TV on, so I had no quiet space to read in for a while.

>_> I had to practice to learn how to spell it like that years ago, and it kind of stuck.
That, and it reminds me of my uncle, who at one point spelled his name Marque.
I'm also fond of ridiculous spellings.
Ugh. That nap did nothing. =_=

Ye gods, the internet is boring at eight thirty in the morning.
Even more so at seven thirty. >_>
I don't want to work today. Fatigue is starting to catch up to me after almost a week of little-to-no sleep per night.
This paycheque will not cover my rent. Ray's first cheque will not be in time for rent.
God damn.
*twitch twitch*

Oh, hey. The birds outside finally woke up.

Ew. Herpes.
*biology geek moment* Technically, they're two different strains, and the cold sore strain does, in fact, help prevent the acquirement of the nastier one. Anyway. WINDUH: I keep realizing that if someone plunked you down on the streets of our town, you'd fit right in, at least in looks.

You'd be amazed, XJ.
Then again, up here, only the local gang members and homeless youth tend to listen to any (c)rap. And I do mean that C, wholeheartedly. People do listen to good rap, but they usually listen to a lot of other stuff, too.
We're predominantly "scene" (read: Emo and/or alternapop) and true indy here. We spawned Death Cab for Cutie (who are directly linked to the formation of the Postal Service), and have ties to (or direct links to) several other bands.
We also have a live music bar, but that's mostly for the 21-pluses who don't hang out at the all-hours café.
Damn. I just realized that I missed listening to the Red Elvises from across the street (of said live music bar) on the 18th. ;_;
The predominant thing usually involves dancable stuff.

What's the name of the school?
How old was it before it burned down?
Were there any known legends about it?
Did anyone die in the fire?

Just for the record, and you can choose to not say if you prefer, I'm curious as to what kind of music this is we're talking about.
>_> I never said you had to give up music in general, though.

I want Heelies. I keep seeing kids rolling around on them and I think that's awesome but they don't make any in my size, despite how small I am.
You must have huge feet, then. Yeah, fast food is not as easy as it seems unless you've got a knack for dealing with people yelling at you (be it customers or managers or coworkers). Also, it's terrible for your skin and hair, as well as the fact that uniforms are never flattering.

He's mentioned a couple times that the blocked sites are music- or art-related.
KT:
I have a few suggestions.
When your parents complain about your music, ask them to give you a song or artist in the style of music they'd like to see you interested in, and listen to it. This only works, however, if you actually listen respectfully to the music they suggest, and form an opinion based on the music they've offered, rather than you feeling like they're forcing you to not listen to yours.
Yes, you're generally old enough to be considered to "know better" than to do something because you heard it in a song, but if your parents object so much to it, then there must be something driving their opinion, too. I heartily support sitting down with each parent, and having an honest, calm heart-to-heart.
Oftentimes, parents become stricter if they feel their kids are becoming more distant, because they realize more and more that you're going to be old enough to leave them completely soon, and whether it's driven by them losing control (which is a lot less likely than some would have us think), or losing you, it's something parents have to deal with, and it's quite frankly stressful for them.
Also, you are 15. You're at an age which is considered very impressionable, and you're at a point where a lot of freedoms of choice are opening up to you. Chances are, your parents are concerned about what is influencing you, and what you are choosing to be exposed to.
Sorry if this ended up like a lecture, it wasn't intended to be. I grew up with a very close relationship with my mother, and she and I talked about things like this a lot, especially when I was trying to break away a bit and become my own adult.

I dreamed that Ray, I and a friend of ours had to learn new tricks for grilling burgers. The more tricks we learned, the more bosses we defeated.
We were saving the world for something, but we were also in a Metroid-style series of tunnels and tubes.

My most disturbing moment is nothing I want to discuss so publicly.
Secondly, though, would be the time I thought I was going to juvie for being in the park after dark. We literally ran home after the cop let us go.
Yes, my life is somewhat tame.

Most of my fears revolve around death.
I'm not afraid of death itself, but its timing, and whether or not I've died useless.
I still have a lingering paranoia about planes crashing into my residence while I'm home.
I have a sort of fear/love for the dark and the night. I can deal with the night pretty well, but if there's artificial darkness, I sometimes just can't handle it.

It also depends on where you're spending it.
Our current running rate (at the Mall McDonald's) is 5% difference.
The fact that the burn on my arm looks like stitches makes me strangely happy.
So does "going after" co-workers' brains, as well as shouting, "METAL GEAR!" at the customers. :3

Not everyone here's known solely by their sign-in name, Ocelot.
Your topic name does confuse me, because I keep thinking it's mine. >_>
QBasic: I really enjoy your style. It reminds me a lot of a friend of mine's art style.

Zero Mission does make me happy. Classic controller + Super Metroid Wii = happy Chron (and apparently 100% in 2:55, which ALSO makes me happy).
I've got the GBA version. My SP is my friend on the bus. >_>
