Y'know what's surprisingly delicious?
theo 3400 PHINNEY Coconut Curry Milk Chocolate. It's sweet, spicy and has crunchy bits of toasted coconut.
It's a deliciously interesting chocolate bar.

Yesterday:
1) Had to call in a ride because I missed the bus. 2) Had a relatively okay day at work. 3) Left early for a doctor's appointment. 4) Missed my doctor's appointment because I was waiting for my mother.
But that's okay, because:
5) I was on a mother#####ing boat.

In other news, I appear to have sunburned my eyeballs.
It rather smarts, especially when I'm tired. It also burns when I close my eyes. I got only about three hours' sleep last night. This heat doesn't help for #####, either.

Crunchwrap Supreme. If we go to Taco Bell, we each get one in a meal. Taco Bell reminds me of good times (It was the only place in Ashland that took traveller's cheques).
I like their Baja Blast, too, even if it does taste kind of like fluoride.

So, I came in early for work today, and there were three babies (kittens) outside. Bosslady says they've been there since last night. They're very friendly and clean, but have no ID on them. They're adorable, but cold and lonely. ):
I have to wait to get a hold of the Humane Society.
ps: Kids' shows have gone downhill.

Porn swaps are better, especially when you end up breaking someone with it.
Both are fun, though.
Busy weekend. Feck-ton of fun. Two barbecues, lots of Rock Band (PS3), and lots of delicious apricot ale even though Ryan drank twice as much of my beer as I did and I'm still a little miffed about it.
All in all, a fantastic time. :D

Since she sings in every song I don't see why you even said that part. I'm just being nitpicky, I guess. I'm in an odd mood between work and relaxing.
I'm saying that I like the instrumentation and musicality, but that the problem is specifically with Amy Lee.

[Evanessence stuff]
I find this interesting. I enjoy Evanessence... until Ms. Lee starts singing. Then, I get an instant, debilitating headache. I'm absolutely not joking, either. Ray used to play lots of it. There's just something that my body and/or mind can't handle about her singing. It's just an instant drain of energy and the kind of headache I otherwise associate with exhaustion. It's odd, nevertheless. No other music does this to me. It happens to friends of mine, too.

I got hit in the eye with a boffering sword yesterday. :D
No real damage done, though, and I think I got this guy in the crotch last time I fought him (oops!).
I'm practicing with staffs again, and feeling lots healthier (well, overall: I still work with kids and germs).
A little sore, though.

I know it was grade 7 or 8, because Brisa brought me here. That means I've been here 8 or 9 years, being active mostly since I stopped pretending to be a man online for security reasons. (A long story: if you don't know it already, don't worry.)
So, I've been solidly active for probably 5? years.

I can only have red meat once a month. I adore steak, though.
Mediyum well is certainly the only acceptable doneness.
Anyway, my only coworker no-call/no-show'd yesterday, so I'm the only non-family worker now (which means full weeks, thank you very much).
Hopefully, I'll be able to pay rent this month.

I've been encountering a lot of Modest Mouse lately. The lazy summer feel suits their music perfectly, especially songs like Float On.
I thing I've got an ingrained association with music and summer. Free concert season and whatnot.

My family, Wills (as well as the Williams and Wilsons), are directly descended from the original Gunn clan chieftan's son, William (granted, William was one of eleven sons). We were also responsible for weaving our clan's tartan after the prohibition on tartans was lifted. We also have four variants of our tartan colours, my favourite of which is as follows: http://www.clangunn.us/Images/gunn_ancient.jpgThere was a Gunn buried on North American soil before Columbus even thought about setting sail. Also, my clan doesn't have a chieftan recognised by the Lord Lyons right now. PS: Highland games were on Saturday. I had a very, VERY fun time.

I've got a moderately new Olympus Stylus that my aunt gave my mom who then passed it to me. It's film, so it's for art and natural scenery pretty exclusively.
Otherwise, I've got my DSi.
Photography is a way my family bonds, too. My grandfather started my aunt, mom and uncle, the latter of whom sells prints and sometimes does weddings and stuff.
I picked it up mostly from my grandfather and uncle.

I'm pretty damn smart and all, but I have to say I think most kids would have known that those should have been two separate conversations. Would have saved you a lot of grief.
That sounded a LOT meaner than intended.
They were, with two different people. Someone was listening in on the side to both (for some reason).

I'm seriously reconsidering my new job.
After finally getting a hold of my boss this morning (after trying several times last night, when she told me to), she told me she'd know at ten if I was needed, and would call me to tell me.
She never called. Not once.
There are some other sketchy things going on, too.

An attempt to explain Darwinian evolutionary theories coupled with my not knowing who my father was.
"So, you're saying that you evolved from a cat, and you think your dad might have been royal? Does that you're a cat princess?"
"No, I'm saying that this theory states that we, as a species, evolved from cat-like and monkey-like creatures long ago [I simplified it quite a bit instead of explaining Darwinian evolution properly]. That, and not having concrete evidence of who my father means that, theoretically, I could be a king's daughter or a famous musician or really any man who was old enough at the time."
"Whatever, Cat Princess."
Yeah. I was a little too booksmart.

I think I have a Polly Pocket around somewhere. I'd give it to the daycare (if I could find it) except for the size of the pieces.
I still have always preferred plushies.
I was a little strange as a kid: Imaginary friends, toilet monsters, and plushie siblings.
I had real friends, too, though. We would play Power Rangers vs. Godzilla or Princesses vs. Lizard Men.
I recall also that I always thought I looked too much like a boy, so I went through a time when I would ONLY wear skirts.
I also earned myself the nickname of Cat Princess in elementary school. I was recently reminded of this when I ran into an old schoolmate I haven't seen in years.
Speaking of which, seeing old schoolmates in adult life (friends aside) is almost always awkward.
I'm not sure why everyone thinks we were such good friends when they very clearly wanted nothing to do with me then.
I was also mentally advanced. My ADD kept me out of Gifted and Talented. I honestly understood (and was conversing about) rocket science and forms of theoretical physics before I knew what algebra was.
That and evolution of species, coupled with the six degrees of separation theory and that I didn't know who my father was.
The proir, of course, being the general base for the nickname, though it was a specific conversation that caused it.
I loved reading, too, and didn't have any videogames growing up (kid of a single parent college student = broke!). Booksmarts were my only friend when I switched schools.
I did love being Godzilla, though. :3
