Of course, the doctors never told me this.

I found out tonight just how close I was to dying from those damned gall stones.

Apparently, had I gone in one day later to the hospital, my pancreas would likely have burst, and I would have died a horrible, painful, sickly death involving bile and internal hemorrhaging.

Kind of.

It really varies, as the pancreas is what actually produces that bile.

I'm upset over a million different things.
Getting screwed out of my RA money.
My Great Grandma dying.
Stress of being an RA, having 4 science classes, vice pres of 2 clubs, executive board of another club.
And a billion other things.

Life is ##### right now.

Well, at least you had the chance to know your great grandmother. I bet she was a good lady. How old was she?


I can comiserate, though. My grandmother was recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and is on oxygen at all times now.

I also found out that I am apparently at-risk for a genetic blood cancer that I didn't know about.


For now, though, the worst I've got is a headcold/sinusitis and five missing body parts.


All-in-all for me, I've been having a series of fortunate events lately, and my birthday is next Friday, so I'm feeling pretty good about things.

Going up the mountain helped me clear my head, and gave me a break from people. It did me well.

I just got back from my annual Auntie/Nieces trip.

We went up Mount Baker.
