Yea, visual cues help make sure there is no confusion. A bar scene can usually work without being drawn, but the GM drawing it on request is common practice, because one needs to know where everyone & everything is before they start a brawl.

I have the right to back up software to which I've purchased a license to use, & yet copy prevention makes that more difficult than it should be. I have a right to play my Blizzard games I have purchased on emulated Battle.net servers, but Blizzard shuts those down to "combat piracy".

I think the moral of this story is that, while fun by itself, all the X series really is is a lackluster reimagining of a classic series. The reference to X in classic is forgettable & was a mistake. They're separate.

That's what I got too.

Souls were way better than Styles. A single battle can have multiple Souls per MegaMan.EXE, & allowed for greater folder customization beyond "lol Life Sword, Area Steal, & Poison Pharaoh". I loved 3. It was great to play alongside a friend, but 4 was even better. Multiple versions are great if you have friends. People that hate the multiple versions are clearly playing the games antisocially.
