51  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Spore on: 15 September 2008, 15:37:58
Yea, it just helps the visual I guess. It only makes sense that it would be that small if you had that much force pushing in on you. Which is why we have no real evidence on black holes xD We can hardly even find them.
52  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 15 September 2008, 05:58:58
That was only if a true black hole opened though. What could actually feasibly occur is a micro black hole opens and rotates to the center of the Earth where it will spend the next 2,000 years or so eating stuff. So we wouldn't have to deal with it. x.x Sucks for those people though. Stephen Hawking said that the hole will dissipate though before having the chance to do anything. I guess lets hope for the best.
53  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Fable II on: 15 September 2008, 05:52:57
We have a huge one like that in our Downtown area. I think they have it every Saturday morning during the summer.
54  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Spore on: 15 September 2008, 05:51:30
Would a black hole not just crush you into less than slime?

In real life, yes. You would be compressed down to about the size of a strand of spaghetti.

But in Spore they work as a means of transportation so you don't have to spend hours getting around space. Still don't know how it works though x.x (The key is like $3,000,000)
55  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Ruyse no Rockman 3 on: 15 September 2008, 05:48:44
Man, I haven't laughed so hard in quite awhile. I need to get out more.
56  MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / Re: Which Battle Network Game is Best? (Poll) on: 15 September 2008, 05:45:49
When the human element is involved in anything, ##### happens.

I voted for BN 2 and 3.
57  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Spore on: 14 September 2008, 09:18:52
:D yep, all the planets were inhabitable. I have heard of systems like that before in real life, I just thought it was awesome that they would think to put that into the game. I've even run into some other ones where it's a giant star that has a mini star in orbit around it which are both orbited by more planets. That too is pretty sweet.

Oh, you can also use black holes as wormholes XD I have yet to use it though due to how expensive it is.
58  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Spore on: 14 September 2008, 05:36:50
Yea, I'm hoping that the Space age will give me lots of entertainment, but I was a bit disappointed in how short Civ and Tribe mode were. Especially Civ mode, that could've been so much better.

Posted on: 13 September 2008, 01:03:04

I'm adding a poll to see what our favorite stage is.

Also, just wanted to share,

I was flying through space exploring solar systems, and I come across one that had two stars rotating around each other while having like 6 planets revolving around that. It was pretty amazing. Moments like that make Spore awesome and also make you wonder how much more awesome it would've been if they wouldn't have dumbed it down.
59  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Fable II on: 14 September 2008, 05:32:46
I never even knew that garage sales could be illegal. But that must mean it isn't in my state. But I highly doubt that Fable II will be that bad. From the gameplay clips (which have been pretty numerous) it looks like it will be pretty decent if not better. But only time will tell I guess.
60  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Ruyse no Rockman 3 on: 13 September 2008, 01:08:13
I suppose. But what does that mean? haha Is he stealing it?
61  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 13 September 2008, 01:06:13
If all of this were to happen though, we'd be dead before we would know it..... in theory. So no need to get all worried and stuff.
62  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Ruyse no Rockman 3 on: 13 September 2008, 01:01:29
You already said you were buying it SF3 haha

As for me currently, BN 4 and 5. I knew they would suck , but I did it anyways because I do love BN. x.x
63  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: So. Guitar Hero. Seriously. on: 12 September 2008, 23:53:05
Yes, I'm really impressed with this tracklist. They even have Colplay :) God damn this shall be awesome.
64  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 12 September 2008, 23:50:18
Damn, I love the new designs. Kinda wish the names were more original but hey, it is Classic. And that's why we love it.
65  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Ruyse no Rockman 3 on: 12 September 2008, 23:47:52
I know that, I meant the whole buying a Megaman game even though we already know that it will suck thing.
66  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: So. Guitar Hero. Seriously. on: 12 September 2008, 23:46:09
They has Muse 0.0

That makes me very happy.
67  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Spore on: 12 September 2008, 23:44:09
Well, most laptops won't run games. So I figured

newer-ish laptop = mediocre comp.
68  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Ruyse no Rockman 3 on: 12 September 2008, 23:42:09
We all do it though, even you have Rez.
69  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Music! on: 12 September 2008, 13:45:48
From what I've heard, I like Japanese rock pretty well. They aren't too bad.
70  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Spore on: 12 September 2008, 04:09:19
I haven't had any problems with Spore. Its requirements aren't too very demanding. My friend can play it on his laptop. Granted its pretty new, but still.
71  MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / Re: which game is the easiest on: 12 September 2008, 04:07:32
More like a year or so.

After all, when was the last time we had a true lamer?
72  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Ruyse no Rockman 3 on: 12 September 2008, 04:05:27
I'll buy it because its Megaman, and I already have the first two, and I also have a naive sort of hope that maybe, just maybe the game will be possibly ok.
73  MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / Re: which game is the easiest on: 11 September 2008, 23:42:42
:: Catchy theme music begins playing ::
74  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Ruyse no Rockman 3 on: 11 September 2008, 23:39:35
We all know that.

I personally am nowhere near any level of excitement for SF3. It'll be just as bad as the first two. Regrettably I'll still end up buying it.

::sigh::

The Internet is a serious business. It has stocks and trades often.

77  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Spore on: 11 September 2008, 15:53:17
Does anyone have any idea about how to get crop circles to interact with the tribe/cities? I have them, but they just freak every one out and they  run around super scared. If you do it right, supposedly you can then get those species to level up to the next rank (tribes would go to citties, cities to space and I even heard creatures would maybe go into tribe)
78  MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / Re: which game is the easiest on: 11 September 2008, 15:36:02
Guys! Guys! This is a terroristic threat, We're upgrading the Matrix Terror level from Green to a Turquoise. Man the battle stations.
79  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Ruyse no Rockman 3 on: 11 September 2008, 15:32:31
Our point exactly.

Burai, this is not a chatroom, this is a message board, things work much differently.
80  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 10 September 2008, 15:55:52
I was laughing yesterday, all the people freaking out about the LHC. That was just a test run. The "real" one will be in a year or so they said. It's not yet a full power. But I don't see what the big deal is, if it does open up some black holes and stuff it'll go one of four ways.

1) The holes close like Hawkings said they would
2) Micro black holes are made and eventually move to the center of the earth due to
gravity where they will eat our matter (It would take 2,000 years to destroy us)
3) Black hole created and everyone dies instantly
4) Dimensional vortex opens showering Mudkipz on the world.

Any of the ways you look at it, we'll either die instantly, or it won't affect us at all. We're all good. (Cept the Mudkipz, that would just be awkward)
81  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Do you plan to drink? yes/no. on: 10 September 2008, 15:44:42
I really don't do either, there isn't any point to it and I think it's pretty immature when my peers are like "Hey!, lets go get #####faced just so we can be the kool kids!". It's so stupid. I wouldn't mind being able to have a drink or two, but the whole, getting drunk for drunks sake makes no sense. I know plenty of kids that do drugs, I don't plan on following them, I've seen what it can do to people.
82  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Spore on: 10 September 2008, 15:37:56
The copyright stuff was really easy for me, just put in my code. And man, I just made it into the middle of the sapce stage and holy ####sticks it is amazing just how big it is. You could probably spend the rest of your life exploring all of the other planets and such. My planet keeps getting attacked though. Those damned fish people. Makes it a little tough to go too far out of your solar system, but it isn't too bad.

85  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Favorite Starforce Transformation on: 10 September 2008, 04:49:14
I guess the polar opposite of ok would be like meh. Because ok is just barely passable, so that means the polar opposite would be a little under failure. Which would still not be worse enough of a rank. So I should've thought of something better.
86  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: GENERAL STARFORCE SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 10 September 2008, 04:46:34
BN 6 was actually not half bad. Still worse than 2 and 3, but it was passable.
87  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Anybody want a Zerker brother for SF2? on: 9 September 2008, 16:02:27
We just told you they were. We weren't kidding. There is never any kidding here. This is very serious business.

-_-
88  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Favorite Starforce Transformation on: 9 September 2008, 16:00:13
Yea, I was sad. I thought they might be ok. But they weren't. They were the polar opposite.

I've been playing Spore....religiously.
91  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Fable II on: 9 September 2008, 15:35:24
Yea I thought about getting the Lost Chapters version, but I didn't want to go looking for it. (They took it off the bestsellers thing at Target.) x.x But I really just wanted to get the main gist of the game and then wait till the better one came out.

Lol, I'll have to post some pics of my people. I like the way they turned out overall. But I plan on making way more stuff as time goes on. There are lots of ideas that need to be flushed out.
94  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: How to get picture icons. on: 8 September 2008, 15:55:46

Guys, T-minus three days till its release ^.^ Hours of life shall be lost.

Posted on:  2 September 2008, 15:52:08

I bought it yesterday, I must say that it is amazing. I am very impressed. I suppose there are some more things they couldv'e added. But, so far I've loved all the stages and space age seems to be insanely cool.
96  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Fable II on: 8 September 2008, 15:52:27
I bought the first off of the 360's classic dowload thing. I was happy.

But as for Snare. I'm really not too sure, I really never looked into it, but as of now I don't believe that I've seen any recent gameplay or anything with a female character.
97  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Fable II on: 8 September 2008, 06:14:04
I know what you mean Edge, he really messed up on Fable. But so far it looks like he has proven everything he has said for II. But I'm not counting on it.

One of the cool new things that is supposedly in the game now is that it is open-ended. (Like Oblivion). So that will be interesting to see how they did. There's now guns too >.> And new modifiers like purity/corruption, etc. GameSpot has a bunch of articles and such to look at if you're interested.
98  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Music! on: 5 September 2008, 15:53:01
Anyone heard of Guster? I found them the other day on iTunes, I forgot how good they are.

Been listen' to Radiohead (as usual) Muse, Guster, and then a wide smattering of what my iPod brings up.
99  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Fable II on: 5 September 2008, 15:49:27
I've been following the game for awhile, it looks excellent. Anyone else looking forward to it?
100  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 5 September 2008, 15:46:51
I usually am not too picky about the cases, the 360's "best of" cases suck, they shrink the games cover image and then place a grey window around it. It's terrible. But otherwise, I really don't care if its like a PS2 game that is a bestseller, they just add that little tab at the top. Do the DS or Wii have any best sellers games? I don't think I've ever seen one.
