This topic is for temporary goodbyes or "I'll be gone"s.
It's good to know when some of us will be away.




We're moving.
We lose the internet tomorrow.
We won't have it back at the new place until February first.

So, I'll maybe run down to the local library and occasionally drop in, but until then, don't expect anything of me.

Hopefully I'll have a 'new' computer by then too.

Thanks, we already have a good lot of stuff there, but my room is 10% packed, I'm moving the whole thing at once. Busy weekend.

I guess I should say I'll be gone from February 14th until the 21st or 22nd... I might drop in during that time. I'll be gone in Japan visiting my dad.

He teaches English there. My mom and him separated when I was five but it wasn't a horrible divorce. My mother just really felt uncomfortable with the idea of moving to Japan and traveling with my brother and myself being so young. Luckily, we've kept up a good relationship.

Okay, so I got myself a new computer, but our internet STILL isn't back yet, it's pissing me off. Local library wi-fi, surprisingly, ftl. It's slower than death, double the speed of dial up.
I'm downloading ##### tons of programs right now.

My new computer is an HP Laptop, 2GB RAM, 2.0GHZ, 250GB Hard Drive with Vista. Built in webcam and microphones.
$700.
Not a bad deal, it was an early graduation present from my Grandma.

I'm getting Skype.
