They ONLY have the first series on Region 1. And that pisses me off. I had to order mine. Same with Clone High and a couple others.

I still tend to see Clone High on sale around here but I never buy it because it's on TV enough.

Here in America nobody knows what the ##### Clone High is, so it's understandably nowhere to be found. I guess MTV aired it for a week or something.

Getting the Clone High DVD was such an amazing ordeal for me. It took 3 months to get delivered. I had to order it from a private seller on Amazon, who, after two weeks without recieving it in the mail, I had to get in contact with. They continuously reassured me that it was on the way and being shipped. An argument like this continued for about a month until I demanded a refund, and got one.

Then, two months later, it came. Guess it was lost in the mail or something.

There in America it's called "Clone High U.S.A." which is weird.

Anyway of course no one knows what it is there, it was made here like everything else Nelvana.

I'm pretty sure I have a Canadian DVD because it just says Clone High.

I'm also quite sure that they probably just never released it in America, but it's Region 1 regardless so that doesn't matter.

If it says Teletoon on the box anywhere it's the Canadian DVD.

I got a new laptop last night. It's all set up now. I hate Vista, though. Goddamn. It came with a free upgrade to Windows 7, though, so I just have to bear it until then.

Technically, this is my second laptop. Really, though, the other one is more of a desktop. I've never ever used it like a laptop - as in, it gets stationed in a room on a desk and sits there for extended periods of time. It might come with me on vacation, but that's the closest it ever comes to being portable.

SO.

It's going to be a lot easier next year at school now that I have a truly portable laptop, one that I can lug around with me to class and such.

Photos! Pictured is Robert Downey Jr. The Laptop, and Robert Downey Jr. Jr.

Are we all just gonna take pictures of ourselves with shutter shades on? Because I think they're very stupid but I've been trying to find a couple pairs for a while just to have them. It's weird, I generally don't want things just to have them. Though in 10-20 years I guess people will say "hey remember shutter shades, man we were dumb" and I can go "yes I do remember them and have them at home and wear them in the bathtub". I want a pair in white and a pair in green.

And on XBox Live your avatar can have shutter shades now, but guys and gals have different colours. We have white, black, and red, which is fine... But girls have green! No fair.

I wouldn't wear them because all they do is remove half your vision.

It's similar to purposely going from progressive scan vision to interlaced!

Not to mention the stupid tan lines you could get under your eyes if you fell asleep with them on.

We don't have that PacSun ##### in any of the malls in Ottawa. Actually, we probably do. In fact I'm sure one of them does. They're supposedly at D-Tox for two for ten dollars but I didn't find them there, though I hate being in D-Tox because I don't like scene kids and I rushed it.

I think they look stupid.

Yup.

Yup.

Though I have to say I'd never seriously wear them. Who does that? I have, to date, only seen one kid actually wear them as his sunglasses but they were the kind that actually are sunglasses and then have the bars on top, instead of just slits in plastic. Still... But I couldn't say anything, he was a coworker's son.

If you have access to it, check this out on Facebook. I added pictures to my album. Ancient pictures, of a day of my old workplace during a rainstorm. I'll upload them here, but the descriptions listed on Facebook tell exactly what's happening in order. This is a tribute to my first job, which is now no more.

Of course, although I do miss the place, it was turning into a rundown piece of crap. These photos kinda prove it. >.>;

So it rained and the roof leaked?

I'm pretty sure I didn't need descriptions for that, unless I'm missing something.

It rained EXTREMELY hard. You probably haven't experienced Florida weather like this, but it was just insane.

Somehow it leaked through the roof and just collected.

The descriptions are mainly there to describe what I saw. I remember pretty much all of it. It was payday so even employees who weren't working came in there and were shocked.

I'm not looking into it, but a few months ago before it closed, there was a tornado a few miles away from it. Large gusts of wind were all around the place. I think it happened after the flooding of Annie's house this year.

Slightly unrelated:
[I see the old advertisements of the Triple Stack on the window. It's still worth a $1.99, which was a good deal, since the Double Stack was $1.49. Now the Double Stack is $0.99, so getting a Triple Stack for that price is kinda a rip. I find it funny people still buy it rather than two Double Stacks.

And before it closed, to save labor costs, the store didn't get a lot of business in the end so we began to close at 11 PM, not 12 AM like the poster implies.]
