I went to Jack Asstors over the weekend. The table had a giant place mat. They had crayons. I took advantage of this.

That's probably the most awesome restaurant sign I've heard of in forever.

I dig it, Steven Stephen!

Also people haven't heard of Jack Astor's? I went to Montana's with my friends from animation recently and weirdly only Collin and I actually drew anything. And really he only drew a little thing. I will remember to take pictures next time.

Also I have a shirt from Crabby Mike's Seafood Buffet and huge glass from a place called Dick's Last Resort in Myrtle Beach. I've never experienced Dirty Dick's Crab Shack though. I don't wear shirt like ever but here's a picture of me using the glass and being wicked; http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v652/156/54/504244008/n504244008_2133514_6275.jpg nyahaha

Huh. We actually had reservations at Montana's until we realized the location was pretty balls, so we switched it to Jack Astor's.

So here's some birthday art for my girl, I couldn't afford anything at the moment because I'm a poor, jobless schlub, so I drew something up from the heart with moxie (No, John)

Definitely got me some brownie points :B

This is, by far, the best thing I've drawn up.

I think Venti's pics deserve more than lame one-word posts.

Are those lips supposed to be hers, or are you kissing the picture yourself to seal in the love? I don't why, but that's making me crack up a lot.

I was actually going to tell her that it was my lip prints. She loves those stupid corny jokes, BUT IT WOULD HAVE RUINED THE MOMENT. So I just wiped the lipstick off of my lips and disregarded it.

I'm talking about her right arm and I'm not looking at it wrong. Your elbow can't be there when your hand is there.

 I'm just saying.
I do like it.

Oh, I know which elbow you're talking about. But as far as I know, I didn't mess up anything. The elbow is just on a straight angle. Making it look like this:

But the hand CAN go like that, it just requires the hand to, y'know, turn.

That photo is a totally different pose than the drawing above, it's not even relevant. I do anatomy studies all the time and her arm is not in a natural pose. Have you even tried to do it yourself?

Her elbow is at a 3/4 view at the same time as her hand is at 3/4, which makes it looks like her radius and ulna are attached oppositelyIknowthat'snotaword unless she's double jointed. Not to mention that she seems to be putting weight on it which is entirely different than doing it in the air with a lifted arm.

This is where I try the pose out myself. Don't picture it just go along with the ride. OK. So.

To get even slightly close to that, I actually have to bend my arm so I can see my own scapula. So my shoulder is way out in front of me and my clavicle is at a weird angle I can press on my face. It also #####s with my muscles and the interossei (dorsal) in my thumb hurts like a son of a bitch. Trying the pose another time, so does one of my forearm muscles that I can't identify off the top of my head (there's a lot). I can't physically turn my hand exactly to that without dislocating something, but I can get close enough so I guess the pose is somewhat possible, unfortunately it #####ing hurts and no one would ever do it.

But whatever, I was just trying to help your anatomy (the most complicated and important part). I'm not trying to sound condescending or anything and I've done my fair share of similars, but when anatomy is weird like that it sticks out HARD and I've done a #####ing LOT of studies in muscles and bone structure and how it all works together just for this exact kind of thing. There's some other little anatomy things but seeing where this is already going I'm not going to go there.

I think it's just a like on the antecubital part of the elbow.
The left side of what we are seeing of the right elbow is just some sort of line put there for effect.

It would be perfectly fine without that line in the elbow actually.

Also, Mike, I can't help but laugh at thinking of you doing that pose.

Buy a new one?

Col-erase is better for drawing than Verithin and non-photo/non-repro blue by the way. But maybe you were just using a coloured pencil (AKA "pencil crayon", which I never understood).
