I'd say Fallout 3 is worth buying, yeah. For me, 128+ hours and counting so far, and I plan on getting two of the add-ons, but maybe I'm just addicted.

Considering I have so many games to play right now it's a bit odd but I'm looking into Mass Effect and it might be a buy months after when I finally have "nothing to do" again.

Also Edge, I doubt the people you're talking about would even understand a word you're saying, which makes me laugh. Very well said, though.

I gave up on SoulCalibur IV because the Tower thing is pissing me off.

I've moved on to Mirror's Edge, which I'm having a helluva lot of fun with, despite me dying every 2-3 minutes. My only problems so far is that the tutorial doesn't let you practice enough, and I'm really regretting having fired a gun twice so far. You get an achievement for not having fired a gun, and both situations I could've handled without using force. Still, I love the frantic feeling of the game.

Oh wow.

Wow, that would be awful.

Although isn't there a mode in that game that gets rid of the red? Of course that's mainly for people who've already played through it at least once.

I wanted to figure out everything on my own.

Took a long time. I don't regret bringing it back to EBGames though.

I beat Halo 3 on Legendary last night.
425 gamerscore at once.
Got over 600 total for the night (skulls and other achievements along the way, like beating levels).
I like having lots of gamerscore.

But yes, those rockets are freakin' cheap.

Some of these platinum challenges are pretty difficult too.

Yeah, he's one of those guys!

He probably one of those "hardcore" Xbots/PS3boys who plays shooters all the time.

He's no better off than those people who bought the Wii for Wii Sports.

Also I have arthritis (maybe) but that doesn't stop me from playing my Wii.

The thing is, I've always hated Shia, but I've never known why. I always make all these assumptions about the kind of person he is and I joke about it all the time.

This is the first kind of validation I've gotten, and it's right in line with the feelings I've always had for him, haha.

#####ing new-wave gamers.

I hope video games experience the same attention that Skateboarding did in the late 90's, in as much as I hope it all tapers off and the general populace moves on to whatever new trend, such that the OG's aren't tripping over posers while trying to enjoy their hobby.

Once I finally got it working correctly, I started playing Fable: TLC for the PC.
Never would've guessed it was my sound card that was the problem...

I've also been spending time with a few BioWare games.

I honestly never disliked Shia Thebeef except for this. I realize that I'm in an odd percentile of people who can tolerate him.

This reminds me that I hate everything "MLG".

I like having lots of gamerscore.

I feel dirty.

I know what you mean. I hate the idea of gamerscores, but if I'm playing a game that one of my friends has, I tend to try and top their score (within reason, mind, as I don't go out of my way to do it and I rarely do multiple play throughs). It's stupid but I can't help it. After I finished Mass Effect last night (which I did spectacularly for one playthrough), I was compelled to look through everyone's gamer profile to see what they'd done. I think I have like the second or third highest score of all my friends, but really who gives a #####? It was the same with Fable 2. So dumb.

Moving on, as I said I finished Mass Effect last night and I see to have done very well for a single playthrough. I am so excited for Mass Effect 2 that I cannot use contractions or anything but a monotonous voice when talking about it because any crack will cause the dam to burst. Thinking about getting the downloadable quest.

Anyway I went to rent Prototype but no dice, they were all out. Maybe later.

I went to a restaurant on saturday, and they had this place for kids to play. I was asked to take my one-year-old brother, Neuhén there. I do so, and on a TV they had Super Mario World.
I couldn't play until somebody came to stay with my brother (He IS a baby, everybody wants to be with him.)
I got to Donut Plains, then I had to leave.
Yesterday, I started a re-play of it.
That, my friends, is the power of babies.

Still playing Punch-Out!! Wii, pretty damn fun, but some of the challenges (lolachievements) are just the game's way of saying "##### you, try to get THIS bitch!"

Even the ending made me feel like they were about to cross the line. After Harrison drops his hat, Shia picks it up.

I said to myself, "OH NO YOU ARE NOT IF YOU DARE PUT ON THAT HAT IM DONE WITH INDY"

And he's about to put it on and... Harrison snatches it.

Yeah, you don't deserve it Shia.

"DONE WITH INDY"

Indiana Jones isn't known for its acting at all, and I never had any problem with Shia's performance in it.

I'd think he gets a bad rep because they always make him play some douchebag character, but I suppose the douchebag character is just... who he is.

When someone clearly illustrates that they're a one trick pony, it's hard not to assume that they aren't really acting, and are rather just being themselves.

See: Jim Carry, Will Ferrell, Dane Cook, Adam Sandler, ect.

Damned close.

I just need better luck.

Every time enemies spawn I just run away so they clump together after me and never stop shooting.

Try spamming the target button. It means you can't really aim while shooting, but it also cooks time off the clock.

I know it's cheap, but after roughly 2 hours of trying and getting 1:25.1 TWICE I decided to exploit the system.

Jim Carrey is a decent actor, so don't knock him.

Will Ferrel was great in Stranger Than Fiction, but aside from that I definitely agree with you.

Dane Cook can ##### a ##### ##### ##### ##### ############## ### ## # #### ## #### to ####### #### ##### and #####.

Adam Sandler THINKS he can do dramatic roles but god is he wrong. Still, Funny People is the first Adam Sandler movie I've been looking forward to in... maybe ever.

People who I think are TOOLS rather than ACTORS, and by TOOLS I mean they're perfect in very specific roles: Michael Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. They're not talented, but they've got... well, they're always exactly the same but it's not a bad thing if they're used appropriately.

OK. Seems like Prototype is gonna be forever rented and while I have the money to buy it, I don't like the price of new 360 games at all. Especially considering I kind of just got this contraption in the winter and wasn't able to touch it for months, so I can play some older stuff I've been wanting to try until I get the chance to either rent Prototype or get it for a bit cheaper. Pretty much the same deal for Fallout 3.

Oh by the wayzle Majikn, you can get those two Fallout 3 missions on a DISC for like 25 of our wimpy Canadian dollars. And I think it comes with a Vault-Boy poster too. I don't know if it's the same content you wanted. It's like The Pit(t) and Operation: Anchorage, I think.

Anyway I bought Saints Row 2 because, well I am Mike Collymore. It's already better than the first one just in terms of polish. And finally there's motorcycles! FINALLY. And I already had the chance to fly a helicopter.

I still have to get that and the first one.
Kicked the ##### out of the second one though.

Way better than the first. I'm sad that they took out a lot of the options to customize your character though.

Seems like they focused too much on body modification. It's quite a bit more robust than the first game, but weirdly there's a LOT less options for hair, facial hair, and such. I don't really get it.

I downloaded the Ünkut packs for both the first and second Saints Row, I knew it was probably too much to hope for but I'm sad that my Ünkut jacket from the first game doesn't appear in the second. It was ridiculously spot on of something I'd would wear.
