Sano's that annoying "I'm a rebel, you're all tools" kid who still hasn't figured out what's wrong with that.

I've always had a really good, strong back.

The only time it's really hurt me (other than getting hurt) was when I had pancreatitis.

DON'TSCAREMEWITHYOURPANCREASPROBL EMS

I'm going to Wonderland on Wednesday. KINDA WORRIED ABOUT DESTROYING MY BACK.
But I've been on steroidal anti-inflammatory ##### that has messy side effects. I've been OFF it for a while since, but its ghost remains in so many terrible ways. I don't want to break my back while bouncing around in a speeding roller coaster.

Plus I'm bringing some cream that will be identified upon my inspection. I'm just going to outright say it. "It's for my rectum."

And then if it's a female I'm going to try and get her number.

If you've been to the doc, and they gave you something for it, it's not your pancreas.

In unrelated medical news, I'm going to finally go to the doc re: insomnia and re: ADD.

Let's see what I'm classified as NOW! Cheesy

I wasn't talking about my pancreas. The pancreas issue is an unrelated situation that seems to have gone away all by itself which leads me to believe there was nothing wrong except standard inflammation with Crohn's.

Do you like the Zero series?

Nice to meet you too. ^^ I absolutely love the X series & Legends, but the Mega Man games for the NES are cool too. Mega Man Soccer is my favorite game. I didn't really like Mega Man X8 and Command Mission -__-. I love the Zero Series & I really like Zero. but my true favorite character would be Crash Man. What's your favorite game & characters? X series. X1-3. Zero series is okay, most people here love bashing on it, myself included.
I don't really have a favorite character.

You didn't like X8, did you try X7?

Some people here do enjoy it a bit, but I personally think it was put on a terrible platform. Side scrolling Mega Man games don't deserve on handhelds with tiny screens unless they build the game properly to be on them.

The characters are #####, the story is #####, the character design is #####, the art is #####, the sprites are #####, the gameplay is #####, the weapons are #####, and the music...
... is sub-par for the entire Mega Man continuum.

But that's just the opinion of an angry, jaded Legends fan.

Aren't characters, character design, art, and sprites all technically/practically the same thing?

Yes, I know you're ranting. And I agree. But I blame X6.

I would say X5, but I don't blame the spreading cancer, I blame the doctor that didn't treat it.

Characters, design, art and sprites are not the same thing at all really.

Characters being the actual characters's personality and such. Which in my opinion, was nonexistent.

Designs as in the fact they all look like 12 year olds, and so on.

Thanks, Nova, that is what I meant.  Although CV is kinda right, they're all the same kind of bad.

I can't blame X5 and X6, they have some of my favorite music tracks from the X series.  6 is just bad in terms of how poorly planned the stages and game design are, but it had POTENTIAL.  Wasted potential, but hey.  X5 I dislike because it feels really rushed, but I do enjoy it quite a bit.

... I'm actually fine with stopping the X series at 5.

Wait, isn't this a thread about showing pictures?  I need to get out of here before you guys force me to give you eye cancer.

Characters is pushing it, but yeah they're almost practically in the same sense.

X6 is also what pretty much created plotholes and ruined the Zero and X storylines.

Sprites are how the art translates to video game form. You can have good art, and bad sprites.

An example of the inverse (good sprites/bad art) is the Scott Pilgrim video game, but then Paul Robertson is so good you hate him.  That and the cover for Mega Man.

X6 is also what pretty much created plotholes and ruined the Zero and X storylines.

I can completely ignore the story when I listen to the music anyway, which is all it's good for.

The sprite work in the Scott Pilgrim game is some of the best I've ever seen, right down to the way it's animated. Just beautiful stuff. And yeah, even though the source artwork isn't much to talk about, I don't necessarily think it's bad. There's a certain charm present in the comics that wouldn't be there without the simple artwork.

For some reason I loathe it, but then I don't like anything about the comic in the first place.
Oddly enough I usually like simplistic styles... oh well.

Paul Robertson does some amazing sprite work; it's nice to see it in an actual game at any rate.

The comics took some time for me to warm up to and boy am I glad I got into them because now the movie's right around the corner and Edgar Wright is my favorite director. If I didn't like Scott Pilgrim I don't know how I'd feel about the new movie. As it stands, I love the comics and I can't wait for the movie.

But yeah, I watched those videos Paul Robertson made - the Pirate Baby one is fantastic. I agree that it's about damn time he's actually putting his work to use in a real game.

I could at least follow X6, even though it was definitely pulled out of the anus. Haven't played X7, but I do exactly that with X8, since nothing makes ANY sense.

Imagine X8, only more boring, and written by fan girls with multiple OC's and self-insertions.
