To be honest, this new toonami stuff doesn't affect me, since I don't have the cable, and when I stay up until 3, it's to pound on my computer rather than stare at the boob tube.

For nostalgia reasons, I'm excited that toonami's back.  However since the people behind adult swim are running the show, i expect it to fail and quickly.  When it comes to toonami I agree with one of the opinionated collective voices on the Internet.

Toonami should be used, as a tool, to teach the next generation of anime.  As it was for us.
