Really, though, I'm happy to be having a baby. I'm terrified of certain aspects (childbirth), and anxious about others (health, finances), but it's just something that feels right. Feeling her swimming around is amazing, especially her adorable little kicks.

We're the first in our generation of our families to be expecting, too, so we have this outpouring of support and love. Hell, our wedding will be half family reunion. Family and friends we haven't seen in years have already told us they'll be there.

I haven't had so much as morning sickness yet (excluding actually being sick), and every checkup says we're both perfectly healthy.

Hearing her heart beating for the first time was incredible, and seeing her on the ultrasound just brought it home further. It's really an absoutely wonderful experience.

Lizzie is growing and stretching, and I actually look pregnant now.

Also, Elizabeth was my grandmother's middle name, and Ann is my aunt's middle name, so it's a nice family name. :3

What I'm looking forward to: Having a baby I can actually hold in my arms and touch and adore face-to-face. Also, not being headbutted in the stomach for hours on end.

What I'm not looking forward to: Midnight diaper changes and waking up at all hours. Also, birth.

Looking and feeling like I'm in my eighth month of pregnancy isn't exactly a cup of tea. On the plus side, telling someone you feel about eight months pregnant gets the point across well enough, even if they don't know the details.

The baby was born on 6/15/11.
8lbs and 3oz.
21 inches long.

Her hobbies include keeping us awake at night, and eating.
