Oh, actually, I thought it was stupid as well.

I ONLY touched to enter Transervers, and that's basically all it's good for. Other than the really pointless trials the game forces you to do before each Boss Battle. Seriously, rather than just shoot the notes, I just circled the note buttons with my stylus. There are more retarded ones where after you've actually accomplished what you're supposed to do involving the screen, you feel no accomplishment whatsoever due to the suck.

Is the MegaMan of this universe a copy of the Power Rangers? I mean, in one of the pictures he has a blaster that's shaped like a lion's head or something, and I'm sure the Power Rangers had a weapon like that sixteen times already...

No. I don't think it's like Power Rangers. There's no giant robot made of other different giant robots piloted by more than one person.

It's simply Battle Network, messed with a tiny bit, and slapped with the title "COMPLETELY NEW ADVENTURE! ORIGINAL GAMEPLAY!".

Waveroads = Net roads
AM Aliens = Good Net Navis
Transervers = PETs
FM Aliens = Bad Net Navis
Battle Chips = Battle Cards
Viruses = ... Viruses.

It's EXACTLY like Battle Network, except for the Battle System. That's only partial. Whatever Battle Network does, Star Force copies.

I'd call it an exaggeration. Star Force is better than BN4 and 5, but doesn't outdo BN2 or 3.

I wouldn't say it's a failure.

Maybe an abomination, but not a failure so far.

It's a failure because it's whoring BN far worse than before. Oh wait, it's A NEW SERIES, my bad, it's so hard to tell the difference sometimes.

OK. The CONCEPT I see as a failure, but the game isn't EXTREMELY bad. That's all I'm saying.

I'm not. I watched NT Warrior.

I liked it. Hated 4Kids. I don't have a reason to like them, really.

Oh wait...

NT Warrior as in the ANIME. That wasn't too bad, but I wish it were translated by a better dubber, like Viz Media or Funimation.

But anyway, I was talking about Network Transmission.

I didn't completely hate it... but everyone has to admit the game was incredibly hard/cheap.

It's Battle Network's X6, and BN4 is its X7. :/

Uh I know I've been out of the megaman universe for awhile and to not to show my megaman noobness, but what the hell is this Starforce Series? MMM was my only source of Megamannessnessness. So Since it's been gone I havn't even looked at one. I'm starting to miss the blue bomber. Mayhaps I should get a PSP Megaman game.

Starforce is basically Battle Nettwork under a new name and the character's designs have been mixed up a little bit. It's basically a Battle Nettwork remix if you will. Either way, it sucks and is a abomination to Megaman. I'll admit the new battle system looks o.k., but the fact that they just copied everything else over is just laziness. They really should have tried to mix more stuff up than what they did.

Network Transmission was a pretty cool game, but it was so far off from a good MM formula that it just came off as a different game. It's certainly not MegaMan, but it's a good game.

And ##### no it wasn't hard, are you crazy? It's too easy.

Slightly....distrubing.....*shutters*

On-topic: I don't see why Capcom Insists on making more spin-offs, unless its Legends, I think most Megaman fans want to see the Orginal series continued.

I'd halfway agree with you on that.

Series that focus on solid and fun gameplay like the early Classic and X games make me disagree with that statement, but games like Battle Network and Starforce are indeed whored out like the prostitutes they are.

Ya'know, people who call things gay usually enjoy the cock themselves.
Megaman might be the most abused videogame character of all time, but there's no proof he likes other men.

This is quite disturbing.

First of all, If you think that about Megaman....Why did you sign up for a message board dedicated to him? :P

Second of all Megaman is fictional! I know its hard to believe sometimes; but its true.

Third of all.....Exluding the Legends series (were Megaman Flirts with Roll)....MEGAMAN IS A ROBOT!

Fourth of all....This is totally senceless. >:(

I just had a mental image of Rez talking to Sano very professionally standing before a closed door. Beyond the door is the most pissed off and violated looking blue hedgehog sitting in white a room lit by a single overhead lamp, with two chairs and a table in between, and he's gripping the arms of the chair so hard his fingers are losing colour and there's a massive embolism forming in his brain.

Good luck fighting PegasusMagic and Andromeda in their hardest forms. All the bosses suck and the game is pretty lame, but it all seems so satisfying when after beating Andromeda and then get something so awesome.
