Powered Up's level editor was AWFUL in how limited it was.  If this doesn't let you have more options on which enemies you can pick for the stage (no one "pack" ever had the right mix of what I wanted), freedom with which boss (or bosses) you can pick, how/where to put the boss rooms and drops/death for pits right above another row then the level editor isn't worth two #####s.

The character "designer" is just a frankenstein lego Mega Man mash up.  Metal Man with Mega Man's head I MADE A UNIQUE ROBOT MASTER NAMED CHOP MAN DO NOT STEEL!  Pathetic.

If all MMU is is the level editor from Powered Up, this is a pretty #####ty game.

And in closing, I hate Roll's design, but will prepare for the enevitable influx of new H from it.  God, the ##### I put up with.

If it's anything like Powered Up, I would say it's not crappy. If anything, better.

Because they have at least got a full screen and not that crappy one we had to deal with on the PSP. At least, I hope, since it's on a real console.

What still bothered me about MMPU though was SOME of the limitations like mentioned. The packs was just the tip of the iceberg. You can't change the water level, can't make a boss corridor to the boss room, can't have Wily Bosses, can't have a big vertical stage, etc.

It's just stuff that limited my creativity and I hated that.

They really should just port Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X over to PSN/XBL and make sequels to those.

I'd say MMU is the best MMPU sequel we're gonna get.

Mainly because of what I mentioned, you now have a larger screen to customize with. MMPU had a very limited small screen vertically.

That's my main beef with handheld Mega Man games anyway, aside from Battle Network and the Gameboy games.

There were some great custom design levels on MMPU, and I liked making my own; it meant I've played more MMPU than any other MM game to date.

Hard to tell, but the level editor does seem better than PU from what I could see.  Though it still doesn't give enough info to address my major problems with PU's stage editor.

I do however, LOVE the remixes so far.  Much MUCH better than PU's so far.

Now, while I doubt Capcom themselves would cheat and do an April Fool's joke a day early, especially on something like this... there have been some sites that did their April Fool's joke BEFORE April 1st... so really, it IS possible, but not likely.

April Fools or not, I don't care personally.  Since I don't have a PS3 or a Xbox360.  So it's no skin off my nose.
