And where does that trailer confirm it's a 2D game?  I don't recall that.  I don't recall ANY #####ing info about what kind of game it is in it.

After that trailer we have exactly the same amount of info on the type of game it is as we did before, NONE.

Rez, it was clarified to be a 2D game in at least one article from earlier that I definitely remember reading.

And we actually have quite a bit more info: there's a lot of hints of Capcom crossovers happening, leading me to think you'll get to do a lot of character customization from not only your own imagination but from other Capcom series as well. Honestly, I think this has the potential to be very cool.

Your speculation about what ##### in the trailer might mean are not facts.  The trailer itself gave us ZERO facts about what kind of game it is.

Yeah, I was coming here just to post it too.

I know it's not Bass.exe, but why did they have to give him a cape like he is? I can just hear someone joining and going all "omg bass.exe is in it". I'm assuming at the least, that X and Classic will be connected somehow, like a time warp or something that isn't canon. Like how Tatsunoko vs Capcom has no effect on the X series with Zero's story.

The trailer itself was rather awesome despite the fact it looks like some sort of "lolz this is what happened between Classic and X" thing.

X Series characters, ... But the classic cast is in it.  And there was artwork for the game showing X and Zero... so... eh.

Nova: It HAS that vibe to it, but it still looks to me like it's just both of them merged into one. It looks more like a crossover than a "between".

The number of continuity errors in that trailer are absurd.  I've not seen where it was stated by anyone official that this is suppose to be a bridge game.  The afore mentioned continuity errors would seem to back up that it is not a bridge game.  We've also still seen NOTHING of the actual gameplay, but as it's an MMORPG it's going to be ##### anyway.

That being said, I loved the animation itself.  I think it'd work better as an OVA or something.  It's obviously far too good for what it's being used for.

Okay, looked over the topic. This whole thread is just one huge identity confusion. The majority of this thread has mainly been about Rockman/MegaMan Online though.
