Those sprites are still better than those in the current Star Force though.

Which is pretty sad really.

....

I really hope this game has BN's Battle System and if it does, I REALLY hope it has the ADD function. Without that, the game is pointless.

On the bright side, we now know what the hell Star Force has to do with Megaman. Whatever the hell BN has to do with Megaman. My only guess is that they're both in X's head when he's in the capsule between the original series and when Dr. Cain finds his capsule.

1) It most likely can't be in X's head because Zero is in the BN series. He never met him prior to his creation and sealing in the capsule. Plus nothing in the BN series supports your claim whatsoever so it's really random.

2) Inafune already STATED that there are two separate universes. Here, I'll list them below.

Classic > X > Zero > ZX > Legends
Battle Network > Star Force

In short, that theory is INCREDIBLY stupid.

Now I need to play ZX only for the story.

You missed the part about how that means that in X's head there's an organic world and a digital world. I could understand him thinking this if ONLY the digital virus busting portion of the game existed, but the games make it CLEAR there's a real world there too.

Yeah, for the longest time, I thought Legends was in a different universe. It was perfectly fine too.

Then they announced ZX and their plans to bridge the two series.

Ask Rez. Him and his anger will confirm it.

Zero was made by Wily. If he wasn't complete when Wily died, then there would be nobody to finish his work (unless Bass suddenly gets a change of heart, that is). Therefore, Zero was finished while he was alive. Therefore, Zero may appear in a future Classic game.

1) That in no way, in any shape or form, supports your crumbling theory. If anything that supports the "cataclysm theory", which Inafune ALSO said was false. The only thing you seem to be proving is your lack of knowledge with the X series.

2) Your signature is way too large.

Robots making robots? That's actually in fact totally completely blasphemy for robots.

Also about the signature, usually banners are links too. Not that I was going to go there, but if I was the sort of person who would go there I probably would still be the sort of person who would and does need that be a link.

ALSO ABOUT THE SIGNATURE, decide if you like Bass.EXE or Bass, because it's clashing with your avatar. But really, your whole outfit is too matchy-matchy as it is.

You should just give him the money, you heartless bastard.

Uhhh ##### you, you don't know #####.

He got INTO that situation by irresponsibly overusing his cell phone. And they billed him 1600 dollars for one month of cell phone use. AND he still owes me money, a lot of which I've forgiven and don't care if I ever get it back.

And yeah, I'm heartless because my brother's ALSO been a jerk to me all my life.

BATTLE SCREEN SHOT

http://protodudesrockmancorner.blogspot.com/2009/08/more-oss-screenshots-battle-field.html

It looks exactly the same as the original game's battle scenes but with BN2/3's chip usage system (10 chips instead of 15).

Yeah, I saw that.

So the game might actually be fun, gameplay wise. Hopefully * codes will be back.

Some people were commenting on this in MMN and were like "omg i hate teh codes they make it hard for me to make folders!!11"

EDIT: And apparently it's the same way with some of the people in that link you posted...

... people actually LIKE Star Force... and MORE than BN1-3? What the ##### kind of world do we live in?

Game still looks awful.  If I want to play BN1, I'll play the original version w/o the SF #####ry in it and with a much better (if not broken) chip/battle set up.

I can't see from the blur, but is the add button still there?

But I'm still with Rez, I'll just play the original. Plus it's cheaper. It'll cost me $0.00.

And, unless I'm mistaken, we've not heard any music yet.  If they remix/arrange the games music to take advantage of the DS, if they go with what they used for BN5DS, ##### that.  The remixes for the older games were #####asticly bad.  BN1's battle theme (the best one by a mile) sounded like #####.  They butchered the tone, tempo and sound of it all together.

It'll probably either be that or Star Force's #####ty spacey sounds... which would be God awful.

But I would actually not even be surprised if they don't remix the music "just to make it more nostalgic", despite the fact they're killing the game with something full of fail.

The best BN title screen music or the best MEGA MAN title screen music?  Your answer will determine weather or not you get cake or a smack from the tomatoe stick.

You are shrooming something fierce if you actually think I could possibly believe BN2 has the best MM title theme. Of course I meant out of all the BN games ONLY.

Mega Man 2 has the best title theme.

If you want to, go there, click the game's... image. ignore the #####ty flash "teaser" and click the second... video on the left side of the screen for some interview with the director or whatever. In the background you can hear what is probably gonna be the DS remix of the BN1 Title Theme.

It sounds okay in my opinion. But it sounds BN5-ish. Or maybe Network Transmission-ish... which might be good.

The only one I saw there had the title screen theme and one other that I don't recall whre it was used, but neither was the battle theme.

Rez, that was both the same title screen you heard. It cuts out into two parts. Turn on your MMBN1 game and don't press anything to hear it all (or just listen to the mp3, I'm sure you have it).

It doesn't really sound flat, but it's doesn't sound great either. Just okay. I would like the original one better.

Oh yes, the title screen fade.  I forgot it goes on after the bit.  What confused me is that it was said that was the battle theme from BN1, which it was not.

I still distinctively remember the Battle Theme, so I knew it wasn't there as well.

But rereading posts... who said it was the Battle Theme? Nova says Title screen right there, but I could've sworn I read that too. I think both of our eyes are failing or something.
