By far one of the coolest MegaMan-related fan-creations I've ever seen.

Just click the link. It should speak for itself.

Say hello to Super Paper Mega Man.

That's nifty, although the demo seemed a tad fake to be honest. Felt more like watching a movie than witnessing someone playing a video game.

It looks pretty meh to me.
There are some games that benefit from 2.5D; I don't think Mega Man is one of them.

The screw thing reminded me a lot of Sonic 2.

It reminded me of  the clocktower in most(all?) Castlevania games.

Pretty cool, but of course they need to fix the engine, because Mega Man's jumps look awkward.

The screw thing reminded me a lot of Sonic 2.

Same here. Especially with the spikes at the top and all.

All!
It's a series staple, just like a blue hero in REAL Mega Man games.

That is exactly SORT of things I expected them to do with MM9, but not the exact implementation. I thought they'd do stuff with perspective like that, but none of that Paper Mario type #####.

Uh oh, this can't be good

...

In general not a big fan of techno, but this remix is not half-bad.

EDIT: Now that I've heard a bit more of it, I change my mind

That's the remix on the official Arrange Album.

I really like it. It's also used in my RPG......

...Somewhere...

It got really techno-y and #####ty near the end, so I had to revise my opinion to 'merely okay', but then again for super-powered techno like that it's not too bad.

I love it because I think it truly captures the sporadic, chaotic nature of the original tune.

I meant to find a decent rock remix of Wily Castle 1 from MM2 because it's the classic, or, even better, one for Ring Man's stage...
... but for some reason I had way more trouble than I should have.

Same goes for actually coding the Flash, but then I hate using Actionscript so much I tend to forget it easily.

I like all kinds of music and have been on a big electro and dance kick lately, and I thought it was pretty good but not all that.

It's fun, sporadic, and enjoyable, but not anything special. I've heard it before, too. The ending bits are annoying.

so, is it a remake of Megaman 2 or a game with a "best of" mix of robot masters??

on a side note, those dissappearing blocks are probably gonna be frustrating as hell (like usual.)

Oh. Wow. That co-op looks GREAT, like, that's how a co-op game should be. I never even imagined that sort of thing in terms of MegaMan. You'd better be able to play online since I have NOBODY with any interest of MegaMan in my immediate circle of friends, and I'd definitely like to try that.

Also, the game itself just looks great. Glad I have something MegaMan-related to look forward to.

Looks like he fixed the jumping a bit, but it looks like you slide a bit too much when running.

But it looks pretty awesome, especially the co-op stuff.

Yeah, I compared the two videos and the jumping seems less fake which is good. Makes it more of a game.

But it IS still a little floaty/fake-ish.

I don't care much for the 2.5d mode, I know I'd have a hard time with depth perception, but that co-op mode looks REALLY awesome.

That's a real brother relationship

Is it safe to bring this back yet?

Though it's still only a beta. Beta 2.0 to be specific.

I really wish I could play this but my partitioned drive fell and broke it's neck.

How is it? Worth the hype?
